Happy New Year to all at Mignon and Papilles! I have always been impressed by the food that Mignon, with all their cooking limitations, has been able to serve up. There are quite a few restaurants in this town that aren’t able to compete with the quality, taste and presentation of the dishes that Mignon is able to prepare. Based on this I was very excited to try Papilles. My verdict: If you haven’t tried Papilles, run, don’t walk! Real food, expertly prepared, deliciously presented, and priced to make this a frequent destination. And yes, I have been selling wine to Mignon but I would never recommend nor continue to eat at any place that serves mediocre food.
